“Thou, even Thou, art the Eternal One alone; Thou hast woven the tapestry of the heavens, the celestial heavens with their vast assembly, the earth, and all that dwells therein, the seas, and their vast expanse—all are upheld by Your grace; even the celestial host adores You.” Nehemiah 9:6.
Within the realm of the valley’s majestic splendor, amidst the solemn embrace of towering rocks that speak of eons past, resides a unique beauty. The mountains stand as silent sentinels, reaching towards the cosmic heavens, exuding a silent majesty. There, the grand trees unfurl their delicate leaves; the blades of grass pierce the earth, and buds bloom into radiant flowers. The forests bear witness, as do all living beings. In harmony, they proclaim the presence of the great and living Divine. Every aspect of our being testifies to the existence of the Eternal One, and within the open pages of nature’s tome, the most treasured lessons about the Lord of the celestial realms await our eager hearts.
Through this contemplation, the spirit expands, soars to elevated heights, and hungers for deeper communion with the Divine Presence. Reverence and awe are awakened within, intertwined with love, faith, trust, and complete reliance on the One who is the source of all goodness. Amidst the awe-inspiring splendors of creation, a question resonates, “What is humanity, that You take note of them? Or mortals, that You care for them?” Psalm 8:4.
The grandeur and magnificence of these wondrous creations in the house of the Eternal One find their true significance only when they are viewed through the lens of the Divine. As the mind attaches these marvels to God and the eternal abode of joy He prepares for those who cherish His essence, a sense of purpose deepens. While we freely converse about distant lands, why not openly speak of the celestial realm and the eternal home woven by unseen hands? This realm surpasses any earthly city or nation, thus our thoughts and discussions should naturally gravitate toward this celestial sphere—a realm transcending the earthly. And why should we not engage earnestly and with a heavenly disposition when conversing about the gifts of the Divine in nature? The Eternal One is the Creator of all these wonders, inviting us to perceive the Divine essence within His handiwork. These creations are designed to kindle the memory of the Divine and elevate our hearts above mundane concerns, binding them in cords of love and gratitude to our Creator.
