Pure spirituality brings peace, contentment, and joy; living in harmony with the teachings of our faith enriches both this life and the life to come.

The disquiet and dissatisfaction that lead to grumbling and discontent are unwise; but the dissatisfaction with oneself that drives one to more earnest effort for self-improvement and broader usefulness is commendable. This form of discontent doesn’t result in despair but in gathering strength for a higher and more expansive purpose. Let it always be guided by strong ethical principles and a discerning conscience, with reverence for the Eternal always before you, and you will surely thrive in becoming prepared for a life of service.

We should live with an awareness of the eternal world. Living without direction or purpose is unfulfilling. We need a goal in life—to live with intention. May the Creator help us all to be self-sacrificing, less consumed with self, more forgetful of personal desires, and more focused on doing good—not for the praise we expect to receive here, but because it fulfills the purpose of our existence. Let our daily practice be to seek freedom from selfishness.

I observe that those who live with intention, seeking to aid and bless others and to honor and reflect the wisdom of our faith, are truly contented in life. In contrast, the one who is restless, always seeking but never finding fulfillment, is continually complaining of unmet desires. Such a person is never satisfied because they live solely for themselves. Make it your goal to do good and to act faithfully in life.

Strive to grow in understanding, seeking a more profound and aware grasp of the Divine will for you, aiming earnestly for the ultimate spiritual perfection. Only this path will earn the spotless character that allows you to stand before the Eternal presence among the spiritually pure, bearing the symbol of unending victory and triumph.
